Baylor Youth Foundation is proud to announce through our recruiting service, we have placed Jailyah McCain, 5’9, 3/4 guard from Chicago, Illinois. Jailyah is an athletic guard who was under the radar of recruitment. But Super talented. She can play the 2-4. She can take you off the dribble and knock down the midrange. She is a lock down defender. Jailyah and her mom had to make a very hard decision as she had several universities and colleges to choice from.

She played traveling ball with Lady Leading Elite under director Latasha Jones. Coach Jones has been a great supporter of Baylor Youth Foundation and the student athletes throughout Chicago. Not only has she provided these young ladies the ability to compete for college exposure. She has also allowed these young ladies to benefit with various social and financial opportunities through several programs.

Jailyah will be attending Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Shaw University is an HBCU. She will be playing for the Head Coach Jacques Curtis. He is extremely excited to be receiving a player with Jaliyah’s talent. He is already predicting her to be freshman of the year for the league. We wish Jailyah much success and will keep you inform of her accolades.
