In some ways, Herron is much like his team name—Raw. But you cannot deny his talent on the boards. The broad-shouldered forward cleans the glass at a HIGH rate. High points rebounds and snatches boards away from other players. His offensive game is mainly limited to put backs and layups, although he did flash a floater and hit a few free throws when we saw him on Saturday. Strong defender in the post that is a shot blocking presence. Also has good lateral movement that allows him to switch out onto the perimeter, particularly in a pick-and-roll situation. Ball skills need improvement. Had 10 points, 18 rebounds in a win.
