Recap of Summer Jam 2016’s Elite Players

Zeke Nnaji

2017 6’2 CG Shawn Williams
HS-Maumelle high school
AAU-Arkansas Dream Team

Shawn Williams

Scores in bunches and locks up on defense. Nice handle and will surprise you with his jumping ability. Hit three after three that had college coaches take notice… Great attitude and very vocal on the floor. Kid is a warrior and winner.

2018 6’7 F Jerome Hunter
HS-Pickerington North
AAU-OH NOVA Tillman

Jerome Hunter

This kid has legit next level game. His unique skill set allows him to easily stand out. His motor is running as the kid can get a rebound then it’s off to the races. Has decent handle to go along with strong inside outside play. Hard to stop once he gets going it might be a long night for any team. Has had a breakout spring and summer with five offers so far with more to come.

2019 6’6 F Devin Evans
HS-Rockdale
AAU-Team EAT

Devin Evans

The long thin 6’6 kid showed flashes of putting the ball on the floor. He was effective in the post and 15ft in but he was most impressive defensively with his group. He made it hard for his opponent to score and didn’t back down with his thin frame. Decent motor and athleticism. Depending on the work this kid puts in will determine what position he will play at the next level.

2019 6’8 F Zeke Nnaji
HS-Hopkins
AAU-Howard Pulley Washington

Zeke Nnaji

Zeke was exciting to watch and displayed the ability to put it on the floor effectively and get wherever he wanted on the floor. He defended both the interior and perimeter well. Decent shot to go along with his nice IQ. A do all type of player that never really looked winded at all even tho he was everywhere on the floor. This kid could be special in a year or two.

2019 6’5 F Avante Lederer
HS-Alcovy
AAU-Team EAT 15u

Avante Lederer
Active active active…did I mention active? Oh, ok. This kid was consistent on both ends of the floor and seemed like he was involved in every play. Nice feel for the game with scoring ability.

2019 6’6 F Jailen Robinson
HS-Walnut Grove
AAU-Team EAT

Jailen Robinson

Has the look and body of a big with the game of a wing. This kid hit tough shots and was very consistent from beyond the three point line. Although he didn’t handle it much he always seemed to get to his spots on the floor. Once he uses his body more he will be way more effective.

2019 6’4 wing Jeremiah Hernandez
HS-St. Viator
AAU-Kevon Looney Running Rebels 15u

Jeremiah Hernandez

High motor kid with overall solid abilities. Gets in passing lanes consistently and finishes well through contact. If he hits 6’6 it could get scary

2019 5’10 PG John Cison
HS-St. Viator
AAU-Kevon Looney Running Rebels 15u

John Cison

Pure point guard with a high IQ and above average shooting. Looks to get others involved but has the ability to fill it up from three point range.
